Karrueche Tweets At Quavo: “U OWE ME A D*$K PIC”

According to Tran, it’s the work of MTV SafeWord.

An uncharacteristically salacious tweet sent from Karreuche Tran’s account Sunday had people speculating that she was either the victim of a hack, or more likely, MTV’s unforgiving reality show Safeword. “U OWE ME A D*$K PIC,” reads a tweet sent to Migos rapper Quavo, someone Karrueche was at one time rumored to be dating. The request was followed by an equally ridiculous hashtag: “#MAMANEEDSONEFORHERSPANKBANK.”

Another user noticed that Karrueche had posted a similarly forward comment on Michael B. Jordan’s Instagam. “I KNOW FOR A FACT YOU WEREN’T WEARING PANTS HERE. CUZ YOU TOOK THAT IN MY BEDROOM,” it reads.

Looking back at the previous guests on Safeword and the dangerous tweets they were forced to send out, it’s pretty easy to see the similarities. For instance, Amber Rose had to send out a tweet at Beyoncé, where she claimed to be “Becky with the short hair,” and another that called Tyga’s music “trash.” On another episode, Young M.A was forced to tweet disparaging comments at Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill.

Many Twitter users were already confident that Tran was a guest on the show, but eventually, she owned up to it. Though the tweet has gone somewhat under the radar due to framing it as a reply to MTV (unlike the Quavo tweet which she preceded with a period, sending it out to all of her followers).

Rumors that Karrueche and Quavo were dating surfaced last summer after the two were spotted at a number of events together. More recently, Tran was reported to be dating NFL player Victor Cruz.

Drake Addresses Various Scenes In His “God’s Plan” Video

Drake hops on IG and talks about various scenes in his moving new “God’s Plan” video.

Looking to take his new single “God’s Plan” to the next level, Drake decided to share its official video on Friday, calling it “the most important thing he’s ever done in his career.”

The video, which was directed by Kerana Evans, finds the Toronto rapper giving away its million dollar budget to those less fortunate in Miami, Florida. The 6 God decided to document his philanthropic efforts, such as giving $50,000 to a Miami college student, donating $25,000 to a Miami high school, buying food for an entire grocery story and giving stacks of cash to some families in need. “We’re nothing without our mothers, so thank you,” Drizzy tells one family.

Now hours after the release of the touching video, Drake decided to hop on Instagram Saturday afternoon and talk about various scenes from the video. Sharing numerous photos from the set, Drake captioned each one with a different story or moment that went along with it.

He kicked things off by sharing a picture of him dropping off the Jordans to the kids in the video, saying “Dropping off OVO J’s to some good youts,” before later talking about the unsafe shot of him on standing on the edge of the building. “Not the safest shot…but I’m still here to write this caption so it worked out.”

One of the more touching moments in the video is when Drake hands a mother & son a stack of cash, to which he says was also the toughest scene for him to shoot. “This was the toughest scene for me to try and keep it together. Mother and son with some of the strongest spirits I have encountered in my life. I pray you two continue to find the light and the fight within your bond. Blessed to have met you both 💙,” he said.



In addition, Drizzy also thanked everyone from Miami U and the Fire Station 7 for their help.

Nipsey Hussle Questions LAPD For Towing His “Victory Lap” Brink’s Truck

Sources close to Nipsey deny the rapper’s promotional armored vehicle was left in a parking spot for disabled drivers.

In promotion of his new album Victory Lap, Nipsey Hussle has been cruising around in a branded Brink’s truck, or at least a truck designed in the likeness of the iconic armored vehicle. Earlier this week, the truck was towed by police after it was reportedly parked in a spot for disabled drivers and was found to have expired plates, according to TMZ. However, Nipsey refutes the claims of law enforcement sources, insisting that the cops are simply “hating” on him and his album promotion tactics. Sources close to the rapper say the vehicle was actually towed from a private parking lot at his clothing store in L.A.



"One thing we don't respect is how the LAPD came through and took our Brink's truck," says Nipsey in a conversation with a TMZ photographer. "We putting on for the city. We showing love. We raising the expectation of young n***as that come out the hood. And we don't understand why the police wanna hate on that."



Nipsey later revealed that the vehicle was back in his possession, but law enforcement sources suggest it is still impounded.

NBA All-Star Weekend is in full swing. The stars are out and there’s basketball to be played. While Quavo was out staking his claim on the NBA’s Celebrity All Star Game, another more hip-hop oriented game was going down. On Friday night, 2 Chainz and Snoop Dogg faced off in some lighthearted yet competitive hoops, which led to some memorable interactions and a no-holds-barred stream of consciousness from commentator Micheal Rapaport.



To break it down, team Tity Boi boasted a stacked roster, including Quavo, Young Dolph, Machine Gun Kelly, Wale, YFN Lucci, Jadakiss, Trinidad James, Young M.A, Lil Bibby, Lil Dicky, Mozzy, Skooly, Short Dawg and Key Glock. Uncle Snoop’s nieces and nephews included The Game, Chris Brown, Kamaiyah, David Banner, Snap Dogg, K Camp, Daylyt, Hitman Holla, Joe Moses, TDot IllDude. Other than a sly moment of weed-fuelled camaraderie between Game and Chris Brown and a Monstar-esque block from Snoop, footage from the event has been scarce. Now, a solid ten minutes of the game has surfaced below.

We already know that team Snoop took the crown, with the team captain securing the MVP title with fifteen points, twenty-five rebounds and five blocks; looks like he hasn’t lost a step, despite being among the court’s elder statesmen. It’s a refreshing bout of positivity, and while some of these rappers may never collaborate on wax, it’s cool to see the good vibes carrying over to the court.

Chris Brown & The Game Caught Hitting Blunt In Middle Of Hip-Hop All Star Game

Chris Brown & The Game decided to smoke up in the middle of the Hip-Hop All Star game Friday afternoon.

Hip-Hop has always had a strong presence in the NBA All-Star weekend festivities over the years, and this year is no different. In fact, for the first time ever, Snoop Dogg decided to throw together a Hip-Hop all star basketball consisted of only rappers & artists. Co-hosted by 2 Chainz, who was the captain of the other team, Snoop & 2 Chainz revealed their teams earlier this week on Instagram.



Snoop’s team consisted of Chris Brown, Kamaiyah, David Banner, Snap Dogg, K Camp, Daylyt, Hitman Holla, Joe Moses, TDot IllDude. Meanwhile, his opponent, 2 Chainz, drafted the following artists: Quavo, Young Dolph, Machine Gun Kelly, Wale, YFN Lucci, Jadakiss, Trinidad James, Young M.A, Lil Bibby, Lil Dicky, Mozzy, Skooly, Short Dawg and Key Glock.

The game went down Friday afternoon in L.A., where Snoop Dogg’s West team took home the crown. However while we’ve yet to receive any real highlights of the game so far, other than Snoop’s block (see here), some hilarious footage of Chris Brown & The Game hitting a blunt on the bench in the middle of the game has surfaced online.

Spotted by TheShadeRoom, Chris can be seen slyly handing the Game the blunt under his leg while on the bench, to which The Game proceeds to keep his head down and hit it. The Game even decided to jump in the comments of the post, and remind everyone that it is now legal in California, where the all-star game was being held.

Desiigner’s Debut Album Has Been Mastered, According To Mike Dean

Desiigner promises fans will “hear a change” in his new material.

Desiigner’s long-awaited debut album Life Of Desiigner may be very close, according to a new update from Mike Dean. The GOOD Music producer and engineer who’s been working closely with Desiigner since his signing confirmed to fans Saturday that the rapper’s upcoming project has been fully mastered, or as he put it, “Finished.”

Dean confirmed that he had completed mastering the album after Desiigner wrote, “iiM WAiTING MiiKE DEAN @therealmikedean To Master LOD He Was Very Siick.” Desiigner also tweeted that LOD will arrive “real soon,” and hinted that the album would show an evolution from his previous work. “New English iiS The Old Me Y’all Really Gonna Hear The Change,” he said.

Last we heard, Desiigner was working on not one, but two projects, with New English 2 to follow Life Of Desiigner. Unfortunately, Dean has not shared any further details on the rapper’s upcoming output, but if his next project is truly through the mastering stage, it seems it’s only a matter of time before it sees release.

In December, Dean gave fans a look at the many projects he was working on, which included music with Kanye West, Travis Scott, and Huncho Jack, Travis and Quavo’s joint album released at the end of 2017. The producer is likely working on Travis’ next solo project Astroworld, which is expected to be released sometime this year. He recently mastered the new Migos album CULTURE II, as well as supplying keys to “Culture National Anthem.”

Desiigner released his debut mixtape New English in June 2016. The project was executive-produced by Dean. He has released a number of singles since, including “Outlet” and “Up.” His breakthrough hit, “Panda,” reached No. 1 on the Hot 100 in 2016.
